Risk Disclosure
Last updated 15 October 2026
Please read this before you use Wickborn to inform any trading decision.
Trading crypto, and especially perpetual futures with leverage, is high risk. You can lose some or all of the money you put in, quickly. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
Wickborn describes, it doesn't advise
The scanner, depth, tape, Wick Read and alerts describe what the market is doing. They are not signals, recommendations or advice, and Wickborn is not a licensed financial adviser. Decide for yourself, and get independent advice if you need it.
Models can be wrong
Wick Read uses statistical models and a memory of similar past situations. A high confluence score or a set of similar past moves says nothing certain about what happens next. Past results do not predict future results.
Market and leverage risk
- Crypto prices can move very fast. Leverage multiplies losses as well as gains, and a leveraged position can be liquidated.
- Order books change in milliseconds. A wall you see can be pulled or filled before you act.
- Gaps, low liquidity and funding payments can all affect results.
Data and technical risk
- Data comes from third-party exchanges and can be delayed, missing or wrong, for example during an exchange outage.
- A consolidated view only includes the exchanges currently connected, and every exchange measures and reports data slightly differently.
- Your internet connection, browser or device can delay what you see. The terminal is only open during set hours, and alerts can arrive late or not at all.
Legal and exchange risk
Rules on crypto and derivatives differ from country to country, and some exchanges aren't available everywhere. You are responsible for following the laws and exchange terms that apply to you.
